Day 1

Day 1: Arrival in Sri Lanka
Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, you will be met by a representative of SLVP who will accompany you to your hotel in Negombo.Program of the Day:

Day 02

Sigiriya Rock Fortress | Minneriya National Park
Following an early breakfast, we will accompany you on a journey to climb the Sigiriya rock fortress and indulge in the breathtaking panoramic view from the top. This UNESCO World Heritage site dates back to the 5th century, built by King Kasyapa. Upon reaching the top, marvel at the awe-inspiring scenery of the surrounding countryside. As you make your ascent, gain insight into ancient hydraulic engineering, arts, civil engineering, urban designing, and landscaping. Once you've completed your climb, you have the option to return to your hotel or continue your adventure by climbing the Pidurangala rock situated beside Sigiriya. From this vantage point, you can witness the majestic Sigiriya rock in all its glory. Later in the day, we will embark on an exciting evening jeep safari to Minneriya National Park, renowned for its vast herds of elephants and diverse range of wildlife, including deer, wild boar, and an array of bird species. Polonnaruwa Ancient City | Trincomalee

Departure
