Day 01

Arrive in Sri Lanka | Habarana
Upon your arrival at the airport in Sri Lanka, you will be met by your guide and driven to Habarana, a charming village located in the heart of the cultural triangle of Sri Lanka. After checking in to your hotel, you can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Program of the Day:

Day 02

Sigiriya | Minneriya National Park
Following an early breakfast, we will accompany you on a journey to climb the Sigiriya rock fortress and indulge in the breathtaking panoramic view from the top. This UNESCO World Heritage site dates back to the 5th century, built by King Kasyapa. Upon reaching the top, marvel at the awe-inspiring scenery of the surrounding countryside. As you make your ascent, gain insight into ancient hydraulic engineering, arts, civil engineering, urban designing, and landscaping. Once you've completed your climb, you have the option to return to your hotel or continue your adventure by climbing the Pidurangala rock situated beside Sigiriya. From this vantage point, you can witness the majestic Sigiriya rock in all its glory. Later in the day, we will embark on an exciting evening jeep safari to Minneriya National Park, renowned for its vast herds of elephants and diverse range of wildlife, including deer, wild boar, and an array of bird species. After an exhilarating day, return to your hotel and unwind in comfort. Program of the Day:
  • After breakfast set off for Sigiriya one of the eight world heritages in Sri Lanka.
  • Climb Pidurangala rock to have an awe-inspiring picturesque view of Sigiriya (Optional).
  • Embark on an evening safari at Minneriya National Park.
  • Pamper yourself with a soothing Ayurvedic Herbal massage to find pure relaxation (Optional).

Day 03

Dambulla | Kandy
Today's itinerary takes us to two remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Sites. First, we will explore the Dambulla Cave Temple, an awe-inspiring complex situated atop a sprawling granite outcrop. Housing over 150 Buddha statues and exquisite Buddhist murals, this well-preserved cave temple is a testament to Sri Lanka's rich cultural heritage. Next, we'll journey to the picturesque city of Kandy, where we will visit the renowned Temple of the Tooth Relic. This sacred site enshrines a relic of the Buddha's tooth and holds immense significance for Buddhists. As the cultural capital and former royal capital, Kandy showcases the splendor of traditional Sri Lankan culture, highlighted by the magnificent cultural pageant held annually in July and August. Program of the Day:
  • Transfer to Kandy and en route, visit Dambulla cave temples.
  • Visit a spice garden in Matale and learn about the spices and herbs of Sri Lanka.
  • Visit Sri Mutthu Mari Amman Hindu Temple in Matale.
  • Upon arrival in Kandy, wander around and indulge in shopping for exquisite souvenirs.
  • Watch a captivating vibrant Kandyan traditional cultural dance performance.
  • Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha in the evening and witness the daily rituals.

Day 04

Colombo
After breakfast, we will drive to Colombo, the commercial capital of Sri Lanka. Here, you will enjoy a city tour that includes some of the city's most famous landmarks, including Independence Square, Galle Face Green, the Dutch Hospital Shopping Precinct, and the iconic Gangaramaya Temple. You will also have some free time to explore the bustling markets and modern shopping malls that make Colombo a shopper's paradise. Program of the Day:
  • Go on a city tour of Colombo after breakfast. The following is a list of some of the iconic places that you can visit during your time in Colombo:
    • Galle Face Green: A scenic seaside promenade for relaxation, witnessing beautiful sunsets and kite-flying.
    • Gangaramaya Temple: A vibrant Buddhist temple with a diverse architectural style and an impressive collection of artifacts.
    • Viharamahadevi Park: A spacious public park with walking paths, fountains, and a giant Buddha statue.
    • Independence Square: A landmark commemorating Sri Lanka's independence, featuring a grand monument and beautiful gardens.
    • Pettah Market: A bustling market for a vibrant shopping experience and immersion in local culture.
    • Wolvendaal Church: A historic Dutch Reformed church known for its architecture and serene surroundings.
    • Colombo Fort: The heart of the city with a mix of old and new architecture, including the Colombo Lighthouse.

Day 5

Departure
After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and be transferred to the Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure flight. As you leave Sri Lanka, you can look back on your wonderful adventure and cherish the memories of the beautiful places you visited, the delicious food you tasted, and the warm hospitality of the Sri Lankan people.
