Day 01

Arrival & Kandy
Our representative will be eagerly awaiting your arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport to escort you to your hotel in Kandy. This breathtaking city is located in the central highlands of Sri Lanka and boasts incredible natural beauty with picturesque landscapes. Also, Kandy is home to one of the country's most revered landmarks, the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, which houses a sacred tooth relic of Buddha. If your arrival time permits, en route to Kandy, we will make a stop at the renowned Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage where you can observe the gentle giants as they make their way in a procession to the nearby river for a refreshing bath. Program of the Day:

  • Check in to your hotel in Kandy and Relax.

    Kandy
    Begin your day by visiting the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site situated in the heart of Kandy and surrounded by picturesque gardens. After observing the daily rituals performed by the resident monks, immerse yourself in Sri Lankan culture and cuisine by joining a cooking lesson. Learn how to prepare traditional dishes and savor the flavors of the local cuisine. In the evening, make your way to the Royal Botanical Garden, one of the oldest and most stunning botanical gardens in Sri Lanka.     Day 03

    Scenic Train Journey to Ella
    Board the train and embark on a breathtaking journey from Kandy to Ella, considered one of the most scenic train rides in the world. You will pass through lush green tea plantations, winding tracks, and misty hillsides. During the journey, you will see stunning waterfalls and breathtaking vistas of the Sri Lankan countryside. During your journey, don't forget to get in to chat with the locals you meet to share your Sri Lankan experience with them and enjoy their company! Program of the Day:
  • After breakfast, depart for the railway station to embark on the scenic train journey to Ella.
  • After arriving in Ella, check in to your hotel, unwind, and relax.
  • Relax in a cozy restaurant while indulging in a fancy meal you love.

    Day 04

    Ella | Elephant Transit Home - Udawalawe | Galle
    Ella is a small town surrounded by misty hills and stunning scenery. You can spend your morning exploring the town, hiking, and admiring the stunning views. Afterward, check out your hotel and leave for Galle. En route, visit the Elephant Transit Home in Udawalawe, which is a rehabilitation center for orphaned elephants. You can watch these baby elephants being fed and cared for by the staff. Finally, head to Galle, which is a historic city that was once a major port for the Dutch and Portuguese. Here you can see the Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and beautiful beaches. Program of the Day:
  • Hike Mini Adam’s Peak and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Ella Gap.
  • Visit 09 arch bridge, a scenic stone bridge built during the British period which spans across a scenic valley.

    Galle | Unawatuna
    Begin your day with a leisurely breakfast, then embark on an adventure to explore the Galle Fort, one of the eight UNESCO World Heritage sites and a remarkable example of a fortified city constructed by Europeans in Asia. The fort boasts a rich history, and you can stroll along its ramparts while admiring breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. Afterward, venture to Unawatuna Jungle Beach, a stunning hidden gem with clear waters and pristine white sand. Spend your day here, soaking up the sun and basking in the picturesque scenery. Suggested Activities:
  • Take a walk around the Galle Fort and learn about Portuguese and Dutch influence.
  • Visit the picturesque Jungle Beach in Unawatuna and relax.
  • Go on snorkeling or a boat ride to see the beautiful coral reefs.
  • Visit the Rumassala Peace Pagoda.

    Balapitiya | Colombo
    Following a peaceful day in Galle, we will depart for Colombo, the commercial hub of Sri Lanka. (Optionally, you can go on a cruise for whale watching in Mirissa before heading to Colombo). Along the way, take pleasure in a boat safari along the scenic Madhu River, which is surrounded by enchanting mangroves and home to diverse wildlife, including exotic birds, water monitors, and other aquatic creatures. Later, visit a turtle hatchery and gain insight into the efforts being made to protect these endangered species. Upon arrival in Colombo, explore the city's prominent landmarks on a fascinating evening city tour. You can marvel at colonial-era buildings, visit temples, browse bustling markets, and gaze at modern skyscrapers, among other highlights. Check in to your hotel and relax. Program of the Day:
  • Check out the hotel and depart for a whale-watching tour in Mirissa with a packed breakfast (Optional).

Depending on your flight time, we can arrange a city tour of Colombo for you to visit its prominent landmarks, marvel at colonial-era buildings, explore temples, browse bustling markets, and appreciate modern skyscrapers. Take your time to soak in the sights and sounds of the city before being transferred to the airport for your departure. Say goodbye to Sri Lanka and cherish the memories of your unforgettable trip.   • Depending on your flight time, enjoy a city tour of Colombo.
