Payment and Cancellation Policy for Guided Tours

Thank you for choosing SLVP (Sri Lanka Vacation Planner) for a memorable travel experience in Sri Lanka. To ensure transparency and clarity, we have established the following payment and cancellation policies for our packages:

PAYMENT POLICY:

  1. Booking Confirmation:
    • Upon selecting a tour package, a deposit is required to secure your reservation. The deposit amount will be communicated to you during the booking process.
    • Your booking will be confirmed once we receive the deposit payment.
  2. Payment Schedule:
    • The remaining balance of your package must be paid according to the schedule provided at the time of booking.
    • The due date for the final payment will depend on the duration of your package and will be communicated to you during the booking process.
    • If your booking is made closer to the departure date, the full payment may be required at the time of booking.
  3. Payment Options:
    • We accept payments through various methods, including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and online payment platforms. Details of the available payment options will be provided to you during the booking process.
    • For credit/debit card payments, additional processing fees may apply. The exact fee will be communicated to you at the time of payment.
  4. Currency and Exchange Rates:
    • All prices and transactions with SLVP are conducted in the currency specified during the booking process.
    • Exchange rates are determined by the payment method or bank used for the transaction. SLVP is not responsible for any fluctuations in exchange rates or any fees associated with currency conversion.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  1. Cancellation by the Participant:
    • If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing as soon as possible.
    • The cancellation fee will be determined based on the time of cancellation and will be communicated to you at the time of booking.
    • If you cancel within 31-45 days of travel, a cancellation fee of 50% of the full fee will be charged.
    • If you cancel within 15-30 days of travel, a cancellation fee of 75% of the full fee will be charged.
    • If you cancel within 14 days of travel, a cancellation fee of 100% of the full fee will be charged.
    • Days will be counted from 6:00 am on the tour starting day.
    • The deposit amount is generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated during the booking process.
    • For cancellations made after the final payment due date, the refund amount will depend on the policies of the accommodations, transportation providers, and other third-party service providers involved in your package.
  2. Cancellation by SLVP:
    • SLVP reserves the right to cancel or modify a tour package in exceptional circumstances, such as natural disasters, political unrest, or insufficient participant numbers.
    • In the event of a cancellation by SLVP, we will provide alternative options or offer a full refund of the amount paid.
  3. Refunds:
    • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the refund policy outlined during the booking process and in accordance with the applicable cancellation terms.
    • Please note that refunds may be subject to administrative fees or non-refundable costs incurred by SLVP.
