Day 01

Arrive in Sri Lanka | Negombo.
Upon arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and then transferred to your hotel in Negombo. Negombo is a coastal town known for its fishing community and beautiful beaches, churches, and cozy corners to get acclimated to Sri Lanka. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure to relax and explore the town. Program of the Day:

  • Visit the Fish Market.
  • Boat ride in Hamilton Canal and the lagoon (Optional).
  • Visit Muthurajawela Bird Sanctuary (Optional).
  • Go on an evening walk to explore the vibrant locality.

    Day 02

    Galle
    After a relaxing breakfast, check out of your hotel in Negombo and begin your journey to Galle, the capital of Southern Sri Lanka. En route, visit a turtle hatchery where you can witness the conservation efforts that we make to protect sea turtles. Afterward, you can go on a scenic boat ride through the Madu River, where you will get to see the flora and fauna of the mangrove forests. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely walk around the Galle Fort, a historic landmark that was built by the Portuguese in the 16th century and is one of the 8 UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the country.   • Checkout and transfer to your hotel in Galle.
  • En route, visit the turtle conservation project.
  • Scenic boat ride in Madu River through the mangroves.
  • Arrive at your hotel in Galle and relax.

    Day 03

    Tangalle (Beach stay)
    After breakfast, check out of your hotel in Galle and continue your journey to Tangalle, a beautiful beach town located on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and have some leisure time to relax and soak up the sun on the beach. Later in the day, you will visit the Rekawa turtle project, a conservation project aimed at protecting sea turtles. Program of the Day:
  • Transfer to your hotel in Tangalle for your beach stay.
  • En route, visit Jungle Beach in Unawatuna.
  • Watch Scenic Stilt Fishermen at Weligama.
  • Check in at your hotel and start to enjoy your Beach stay.

    Day 04

    Beach Stay in Tangalle
    You will have a full day at leisure to explore the beautiful beaches of Tangalle, go for a swim in the ocean, or simply relax by the pool. Suggested Activities:

    Day 05

    Yala National Park/ Tissamaharama
    Following a leisurely morning meal, our journey will commence towards Yala National Park, the second largest and most visited national park in Sri Lanka. Yala stands out for its wide array of wildlife, featuring freely roaming elephants, leopards, birds, and numerous other fascinating creatures within its boundaries. As the day progresses, we will embark on an exhilarating evening safari expedition, enabling an intimate encounter with the park's extraordinary wildlife. Accompanied by our knowledgeable guide, you will traverse the park, gaining captivating insights into the animals' habits and their natural habitat. With a stroke of good fortune, you may even catch a glimpse of a majestic leopard or witness herds of elephants taking refreshing baths in the park's watering holes. Once the safari concludes, you will retire for the night at a cozy and conveniently situated lodging in close proximity to the park, enveloped by the enchanting symphony of nature. Along the way, we will take you to captivating historic and cultural sites, as well as enchanting waterfalls. Upon reaching Ella, you will check in at your hotel, allowing you to unwind and settle in. Take the opportunity to relax and explore the town, discovering its unique charm. Indulge in a variety of delicious meals in cozy corners, savoring the culinary delights Ella has to offer. Whether it's a quaint cafe, a local eatery, or a charming restaurant, there are plenty of options to satisfy your taste buds.   • Visit 'Diyaluma' Water Fall, the 2nd Highest in Sri Lanka.

    Day 09

    Kandy
    Today, we will visit the Temple of the Tooth, one of the most sacred Buddhist temples in Sri Lanka and the final resting place of the tooth relic of the Buddha. The temple is located in the heart of Kandy, which was the last royal capital in Sri Lanka and is an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists around the world. After visiting the temple, we will explore the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, which is one of the most beautiful and well-maintained botanical gardens in Asia, and on completion, witness a traditional Kandyan dance performance, which showcases the unique culture of the region. Return to your hotel and unwind and relax in the evening. Program of the Day:
    • Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha and witness the daily rituals.
    • Take a walk around the Scenic Kandy Lake.
    • Visit the fruit and vegetable market in Kandy and explore the city.

    Transfer to Colombo and Overnight Stay in Colombo
    After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel in Kandy and head towards Colombo, the commercial capital of Sri Lanka. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and have some leisure time to relax. In the evening, you will go on an exciting city tour of Colombo. You will visit some of the top attractions in the city, including Independence Square, Gangaramaya Temple, and the Colombo Dutch Hospital. You can also do some shopping at some of the shopping malls in Colombo. Program of the Day:
    • En route, visit Kelaniya sacred temple.
    • Go on a city tour of Colombo after breakfast. The following is a list of some of the iconic places that you can visit during your time in Colombo:
    1. Galle Face Green: A scenic seaside promenade for relaxation, witnessing beautiful sunsets and kite-flying.
    2. Gangaramaya Temple: A vibrant Buddhist temple with a diverse architectural style and an impressive collection of artifacts.
    3. Viharamahadevi Park: A spacious public park with walking paths, fountains, and a giant Buddha statue.
    4. Independence Square: A landmark commemorating Sri Lanka's independence, featuring a grand monument and beautiful gardens.
    5. Pettah Market: A bustling market for a vibrant shopping experience and immersion in local culture.
    6. Wolvendaal Church: A historic Dutch Reformed church known for its architecture and serene surroundings.

    Departure
    After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel and be transferred to the Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure flight. As you leave Sri Lanka, you can look back on your wonderful adventure and cherish the memories of the beautiful places you visited, the delicious food you tasted, and the warm hospitality of the Sri Lankan people.
